Intel Quad vs AMD Phenom x4 for Virtualization , I will use software like Vmware and virtual pc, and will not heat up also

Both run fine in virtualization software. I’d suggest the Phenoms because they’re a bit cheaper though.
PS. Try the B2 stepping Phenoms as the earlier once has a very rare bug that is caused by using Virtualization software. It’s very rare even on virtual settings, but still a heads up. =)
