How well does windows 7 run on a macbook?

I’m a first year college student and need a laptop for college but since most of my course uses programmes you can only run on windows I was wondering how well windows 7 runs on a macbook? Is there a considerable loss in performance?

the only time you’re looking at any kind of real performance loss is if you’re running it in a virtual environment. if you’re dual booting chances are it will run just fine, or as well as it does on any other PC of equal hardware specs.
there is no loss of performaance due to the fact that a mac is the same thing except for a different operating system.so there will be no performance loss and you might even do btter because macs have good system specs.
Windows 7 can all run on MacBook using Boot Camp, but performance will be affected moderately. A PC with a similar specification will run Windows 7 significantly faster because the driver Apple provide for Windows is severely unoptimized.
