How can I delete my gamertag which was recovered from a different xbox 360?
My friend is selling his xbox 360 but my xbox live gamertag is still recovered on there and I want to take it off. How can I do this?

I’m guessing that you recovered at you friend’s house and are worried, because you can’t go back there or something…? I did that…
As soon as you recover you GamerTag onto another xbox, even though the GamerTag "Name" is on the other xbox, it will not be able to be used online…
If they disconnect the console then they’d be able to access just the account, no game saves either, I think (unless you left you hard drive there or memory card)
So as long as you’re logged into your account, someone else can’t be.
You’ll have full access on the account that you just recovered. The other account will be useless.
ok from the main 360 screen go to your harddrive (asuming you have the updated interface should be on a tab all the way to the right.Should be an option under your harddrive to select gamerstags and just delete them.
or you can just format the harddrive all together same menu just press Y i think. Had to do this when i got my 360 back from repairs and my gamerstag info got corrupted and some hindo named tiger had me format mine.
