I have a wireless netgear network on my windows vista computer. We’ve got a new computer with windows 7 that can’t connect at all. The driver doesn’t seem to be compatible with windows 7. How can we fix this?
I have a 54 mbps wgr614 v 4 router

download netcard drive
try seeing if there is any firmware updates for your router and go to netgear to see if there compatible which i think they should be
You will need to update your driver by going though Windows or the manufacturer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isnt-working-properly.
Then you will need to set up your network to be a workgroup (hoemgroups only work for networks with computers all running the same version of windows): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Networking-home-computers-running-different-versions-of-Windows.
