It is a dell inspiron 1520. Runs on windows vista. Has an intel core 2 duo CPU T5250 1.50GHz.
It also has 2GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS graphics card. So could i play world of warcraft and any or all of its expansions on the lowest setting or what?

Yes, you’ll be fine. Though, I would definately upgrade to 4 gigs of RAM, unless you can even go more. The biggest problem in any mmorpg is laggg, and for some reason, I had better hardware on my laptop than my desktop, but the laptop consistantly had more lag. Once I upgraded to 4 gigs or RAM however, I never had any lag problems again. Trust me, it’s worth the investment! By the way…Vista isn’t even a factor, it works great.
Sure, no problem.
You might have to adjust the graphics level down to Low and buy a chiller pad, but it will play just fine.
I play on my Macbook Air all of the time.
Should be able to fine
Of course you can. Just do it the same as you would do on your old pc.
Does it meet or exceed the game’s system requirements? Learning how to compare specs is more important than gaming itself!
On the lowest setting will still look great.
Yes. But just to be sure, ask Blizzard about it. I am not certain on the windows vista part. See, since most driver manufacturers had to remake the drivers for their hardware for it to work for vista, it could bring you some issues. Although I am not certain to what extent it would affect video card performance. WoW should work for the video card you mentioned, and most definitely should work under vista with 2gigs of ram.
Blizzard has decent support for these things, I recommend that you call them up and ask them.
IN A NUTSHELL:
yes – you can play WoW on a laptop
yes – inspiron 1520 is fine
yes – the specs are fine and you will have smooth gameplay
yes – graphics will be great with your graphics card
yes – vista work fine with WoW (I have vista and play it)
You could play it easily if you set it to low settings. I used to play it on laptop and it was smooth on low quality.
I have an inspiron 1720 and i think its pretty close to the same setup as ur 1520. And i play jus fine, yah its a little laggy sometimes but not alot. The onlt problems i had was the graphics and i looked it up on youtubee alls u have to do is type something in wile playin the game and it fixes it
Sure thing you could play Wow on a laptop, the graphics might not look the best but its better than nothing and you can always put in a better graphics card.
