How do you pass today's job tests?
In the technical field there are a lot of companies that use tests for potential candidates. They test reading, math, memory etc…
Some of these tests can be very overwhelming and having them timed is another stress added to the mix. Its frustrating living in this era that the only way to get a job today is to pass a standard test given to multiple candidates. I’ve interpreted it as a maze or a weed out procedure of who the companies want and who they don’t want. Has it always been this way? I thought with my experience that I had a great thing going for me. But to my surprise a lot of others from my (current) generation or even older are able to pick up talents and this is where the competition comes from. You no longer have a gift that stands out. Everyone is able to do it. What bugs me is that some way older generations aren’t able to keep up with todays new technologies. So much is expected from us today. How much harder will it be for the coming generations?

Just lay low, talk up when you only have positive answers, and contribute all that you know will help in this job review..let them know you really believe in this company. When settled in your job, pick out a mentor{.the older ones really know the ropes around the job,}maybe you can add to their incompetence by really letting them know you will add to the mix..be a team player, although you may need to work alittle harder to show your willingness to get the job done. That is really all it takes, and don’t forget to listen attentively when spoken to by your peers at work.Call them by the first names..be polite!
yes sir/mam will always help when you are a bit younger.
