Well the "best" is the elite since it include a much bigger harddrive, a headset, an hdmi port and wire (although the new xbox are having this feature as well), an internet cable, and a nice black color. However if you care for neither of those things than probably premium (the reg Xbox 360). You’d have to buy a headset and internet cable seperately. Also the hard drive space is only 20Gigs rather than 120.
If you get the Elite you don’t rly need to buy accesories since you have the headset and everything else you might need although if you hate dealing with batteries there’s always the charge kit for your controller.
Games I reccomend:
First Person Shooter games: Halo 3, Call Of Duty IV, Orange Box, Bioshock
RPGs: Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Oblivion, Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Other: Assasin’s Creed, Forza Motorsport 2, Grand Theft Auto IV
Get the normal xbox with 20gb and get Vegas 2 and The orange box (5 games for $50)
and get Oblivion!
(thanks guy under me!)
If u plan on PACKING ur memory with music and movies, id get an Xbox elite, but if your just going to play games on it, in get the normal. Game wise, must haves would be
1. Halo 3
2. Call of Duty 4
3. Gears of War
4. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
get the controller with a rechargeable battery… so you dont have to buy extra batteries… and keep taking out and putting new ones in
well first of all.
if u know ur gonna be downloading alot of things i suggest the 360 elite it has an 80gb hard drive.
but if ur jst a normal gamer i suggest hte normal xbox with a 20 gig hard drive.
as for the games.
halo 3 and call of duty 4 are prolly the greatest choices for online play.
but like the other guy, the orange box is an excellent pick.
its like 10 bucks a game.
I am happy to recommend a site to you, http://www.game4box.com I believe that you can find the information you want here.
If you want to prevent paying more money in the future, buy an Xbox 360 Premium. I know from firsthand experience. I brought the Xbox Core system from Ebay a year ago. Since then, I have paid $50 for a 20GB harddrive, $50 for a wireless controller, and my Xbox ultimately broke. In the end, I ended up paying more for Xbox accessories compared to if I had brought a Premium. Dont cheap out on this or else you will be screwed in the future!!!. Another advice is to never buy a 360 from eBay and to get the longest period warranty available. 360’s are very unreliable and have numerous problems for which you have to send your Xbox into Microsoft. Without the warranty, they will charge you $100 for repairs. Finally, get the Premium over the Core or Elite because it has the same exact features as the latter. The only exception is the hard drive space. The 120 GB harddrive with the elite is completely pointless. After I brought my 20 GB harddrive, I have only used it to download Halo 3 maps. So the premium with an extended warranty would be your best choice. Hope it helps!!!
