You might have to reinstall Vista .
You DONT!
Leave it as Vista would slow your Entire PC down. Se7en is Much better.
I dont blame you and your NOT the first! Either way you WILL be formatting your HD clean! There is NO other way.. Format that HD back to a clean slate. Then you put your Vista back on and its will run like New Again.
You can reinstall Vista to get Windows 7 off your computer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Can-I-uninstall-Windows-7.
How did you install Windows 7, did you do an upgrade or a custom installation? You can try a custom installation (with backup) if you just performed an upgrade this will essentially reformat your drive: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-vista-to-windows-7-custom.
You may want to check with speed and performance assessment tools to make sure you are only running the necessary programs: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Get-computer-speed-and-performance-information.
Good Luck!
