Xbox 360???

These things are terrible. My 360 crashed about 5 months ago. They extended the warranty so I sent it in to get fixed and I just got it back and in the box there was a note saying I just got a new one to save time. So I was playing the new 360 last night and it crashed too!!! This is getting ridiculous. This is fourth xbox that has stopped working for me (this is including the original xbox). It would be nice if these things could work for more than two days!!

Stop and before you buy another x-box make sure you check the conditions in your room, living room, e.t.c e.t.c… Your 360 MUST be in a cool enviorment, away from liquid, and with plenty of ventilation. Also make sure you dust around your x box every day, it is possible for dust to clog up the ventilation shaft and over heat your x box 360. Are there an excessive number of ant or bugs in your room. They could crawl into your 360 if its near them and ruin it over time. (Not really sure about that, but its just common sense.) 360’s malfunction, this cannot be avoided, but it HAS to be your own doing if you have 5 game systems from the same brand give out on you. Also, what other game systems, if an, do you have, and how are they functioning? I hope this helps… comb over your room and look for the stuff I said!

Yes Microsoft could have done a little better in the quality, as I have had 3 die 1 being my fault and it was out of warranty. But I think they are doing a excellent job with fixing them. They send you a box that arrives in 3 days, they cover shipping back with 3 day select, allowing you to track it at any point then they deliver your console rather quickly. While it is an inconvenience they have done a good job to make up for their faulty equipment. I still think this console is the best out there, because of xbox live and all it has to offer, the ps3 is good for graphics, and the wii is fun to play occasionally.
If you don’t want to send your 360 to Microsoft and lose gaming time anymore, just keep your previous hard drive, buy a $250 Core pack, and put the hard drive back in it. It saves time and money, especially if you don’t want to lose your Xbox for a couple months.
it is just lucky if you get a good one because i have had mine for 8 months and it hasn’t broke yet. so just hope you get another.
