Nobody can predict the future. It is a good machine, but who knows what will happen 4 years from now. Remember, there were computers in 1995 that were perfectly adequate for running the games of the day. Developers intentionally drive cutting edge technology because it sells product.

Get a computer with a core-i7 processor. That should last through the next few generations. In a few years however graphite processors with make all these silicon ones obsolete.

It will be good for good gaming now, and moderate gaming for the next ~3 years. That is, if things keep going they way they are going.

Years ago the best pc's in the world had Pentium II processors and they cost thousands of dollars.
Today a saw a Pentium II computer in the dump.

About every 3 years any computer you have will basically be old technology and in 5-6 years it will be ready for the scrap heap.
You just have to bite the bullet and spend money on computers if you want performance.

You can always upgrade your computer though, this will keep it up to date for a while but eventually you get screwed like the change from LGA 775-DDR2 to LGA 1156/1366-DDR3, when you end you having to change out half your computer, but it will still always be cheaper than buying a new computer.
