May be a device conflict, boot in safe mode and check. Then defrag the HDD, download and run spybot
If you are lagging, there is a good chance that you simply don’t have enough RAM to run the game. On my previous laptop, I couldn’t be in any major city without the game crashing. It could also possibly be, similar to a RAM deficiency, or that it’s taking up all the available memory so that your computer can’t do anything, even properly allow you to exit the game manually.
Happened all the time on my old computer before I got a new one.
Post your question at the WoW forums, and hopefully a tech will get back to you ASAP. I know several people that have had problems with their PC freezing with WoW.
Mine did it until I got more ram, must’ve been a bad stick in there.
My daughter’s laptop still randomly freezes. /shrug.
Be sure to post all of your computer specs when you post at the WoW forums, as they will need to know all of that before they can help you.
Good luck & Happy Gaming!
