Hi NoNo,

Beach Bum Daddy is correct, if you chose to go back to Windows 7 Home Premium, you would need to back up all your data to an external hard drive and do a reinstall of Home Premium. Ultimate is the same OS, just with increased features...I am guessing will want to stick with it! However here is a resource to help you decide between which between version suits your needs: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/compare?T1=tab09

Best of luck with your decision!

Cheers,
Cassandra

You should check out the features in Ultimate first.

If you are a home user you will probably find there is not much extra in it that you'll use.

You cannot downgrade, you will have to reinstall the Home Premium version.
