as you have discovered, this week beta copies are starting to "time bomb". The official date was feb 15, but they gave us a few more weeks. They will do the reduced functionality thing until june 10 and then lock
If money is tight, you can postpone the inevitable by installing the free 90 day enterprise trial.
According to the official web site, you must do a clean install
Hi Ninja,
Harrison is correct, there is not an upgrade option from the Release Candidate to a full version of Windows 7. Make sure you back up all programs, files, and settings before you do the clean installation of Windows 7. If you previously had XP or Vista and you still have the disk to reinstall, you can do so, and then upgrade to Windows 7 from there. Otherwise you will need to purchase a full version of Windows 7 and do a clean installation. Here is some additional information on the Release Candidate coming to an end: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/release-candidate.aspx.
Cheers,
