My problem is that for some reason microsoft keeps saying that my windows 7 is a pirated one. To prevent this I would like to go back to the way my computer was.

If you are getting the popups liek the person above me saying "you are a victim of counterfiting" or something like that… it’s probably a freakin adware or something… Just run Malwarebtes and see if it catches anything.. If it dosn’t.. then use a windows Vista DVD and you will probably have to reformat 0.o But i would run malwarebytes first, and then restart after it’s done.. and see if it still happens.. i’m betting it’s just a virus adware thingy.
Why would you WANT to switch back to Vista?
Either way, get a windows 7 disk and re-format your computer.
Windows Vista is horrible, but the guy above me was halfway right. It’s better to use a Windows Vista DVD to reinstall Windows Vista (I don’t know how to reinstall Vista using a 7 CD).
OH MY GOD that is happening to me too.
but my windows 7 still works fine, just these messages pop up saying you are a victim of software counterfiting. when i know 100% fo sho im not..
Where did you purchase your Windows 7? You should only purchase Windows 7 from a Microsoft Partner or reputable retailer. Here is some information on genuine windows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/genuine.
As far as going back to your old OS, the best recommendation that I have is to reinstall Vista.
Good Luck!
