Can I legally download Windows ISO's if my CD is scratched?
My original windows 95 cd is scratched, can I legally download an ISO of the CD from the internet? or is there some other way I can get my hands on a inexpensive replacement without buying a full version of Windows again?
The reason I’m trying to run Windows 95 is for an article about Virtualization and VMware I’m writing on http://x86Virtualization.com, I need to install Windows and test a few websites with Internet Explorer 5.0 for research.

If you have a valid, legal product key, it shouldn’t be a problem. Be careful about where you download from. It could have extra "gifts" like trojans, viruses and spyware.
Legally your not allowed to download it because it’s still copyrighted software……
Windows 95 that’s old I don’t know why you’d want it but you can get it for 15$ on ebay origional disk and product key.
