Can i transfer my applications and music from my ipod touch to my iPhone?
I currently have a 8GB Ipod Touch with various games/applications and music. I plan to get the iPhone 3Gs with in a couple of weeks and wanted to know if i could transfer my applications that i bought on my ipod touch onto my iphone, or would i have to rebuy them? I also intend to get a new computer soon, so when i start syncing my ipod on my new computer, will i lose all my applications/music or is there a way i could back them up or re-download them without having to pay? Thanks

Here is a solution. All you need is to get all existing music/videos from your iPod onto your computer and iTunes. Simply use this handy transfer program called Tansee iPod Transfer
http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tansee-iPod-Transfer.htm
Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer.
With just a few simple clicks, it will help you copy all videos/songs from iPod back to your selected folder on your computer, and then you can easily add those files back to iTunes.
More importantly, this won’t overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names are preserved.
In this case, all songs/videos (both new and old) are on your iTunes library that you can syn with whenever you wish to without deleting any files.
Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process:

Hey, you can backup your iPod Touch media files such as music, video and photo on your PC and then transfer your iPod Touch files to your new iPhone. To do this, you need an additional iPhone/iPod transfer tool. Personally, I am now using this Wondershare iToolkit which includes 3 tools – iPhone Transfer, Photo Copy and Contacts Backup. This iToolkit software helps me put my iPhone contents – music, video, photo, contacts and SMS back to PC. And I also make a backup of all my iPhone info on PC so that I can restore them when needed. You can have a free try of it at: http://www.itoolkit-software.com/itoolkit.html#181.
