Macbook Gaming Performance?
I’m wondering about getting a Macbook, since performance is pretty solid and the "Mac experience" is something I’d like to try. However, I also want to run a few games on the laptop, and I was wondering if Boot Camp, Fusion, or whatever Mac uses for Windows Virtualization results in slower gaming speeds, or if it’s still hardware-limited by the 8600 graphics.
On a side note, is a 2.6 Ghz CPU that much faster than 2.5 Ghz, to warrant an additional 250 dollars?

I wouldn’t recommend a MacBook for gaming, as the integrated graphics hardware just isn’t really up to it. MacBook Pros have actual graphics cards, so I’d recommend looking at them instead if your budget allows. In any case, Boot Camp is a better way to go for games, since with virtualization apps like Parallels or VMWare, the computer’s not just running the game, but trying to run two entire operating systems simultaneously as well.
