Where can I sell old electronics such as camcorder, laptop, camera and binoculars or get a few bucks for them?
Folks, I meant "technology wise old", but they are in really excellent condition. They work just fine, but they are so bulky for these days. I did not want just throw away, since we paid big bucks for them right before today’s high technology burst. I checked on ebay about the possibility of selling them. Almost not worth to spend time & money to list. Is there any other way I can donate somewhere or get a few bucks for them? I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you all.

Your best bet is to find an Electronics recycler who buys electronics. Todays problems are the fact everything Electronic is considered Hazardous Waste and you have to pay to dispose of them.
Well, you can pop them on eBay – they’re small enough to ship, but try giving them to Goodwill. The problem is that new stuff is so cheap. I can buy a really nice DVD player for $39, so who’s going to pay for my old clunker?
CRT computer monitors are the worst. I used to spend $750 each for really nice Sony monitors, but now they sit in my garage and I try to give them away at tag sales, but no one wants them. Not just for for $5, they won’t take them for free.
I would suggest trying to donate them to a local non-profit organization that needs equipment. Some of these places are just happy to have anything. Pick a cause you care about – humane society, AIDS, whatever – and call and ask if they can use any of this equipment. Forget about making some bucks, you probably be lucky to get beer money. Just find a place you care about and help them out. I think that’d be best.
And consider a homeless shelter. They don’t have money for computer access for people, but the people need it for job applications or communication, and they’d certainly appreciate old VCRs or whatever. You can do some good with your stuff.
