How do you remove an anti virus or spyware on a laptop?

Every time I log in to my laptop I get a blue screen that’s says "warning spyware detected on your computer install an anti virus or spyware remover to clean computer". What do I do?
And it wont let me go to my screen it just stays like that

Anti-virus program, would remove virus and if you don’t have a program that is bad on your part. I suggest you download AVG

go to a friends computer/ take a memory stick with you./ go to the microsoft site, and download the latest Internet explorer (it comes with a MALICIOUS SOFTWARE REMOVER TOOL attached)
load it to your memory stick.
and while you are at it, go to http://www.avast.com and download the FREE AntiVurus. while you are there, register and have the install key sent to your email.
install all to your computer, and you should be well on your way, to recovery.
I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy a spyware killer for years. I have recently added superantispyware. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I have just upgraded to AVG free 8.0 and all seems good so far. Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from http://www.download.com/ I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps
You’ve gotten hit with a pretty common badware/malware program. It’s pretty easy to get this one just browsing around.

Malwarebytes at http://www.malwarebytes.org/ might work on this. I used it recently to get rid of the Antivirus 2009 malware on a friend’s laptop. It fixed most of the things Antivirus 2009 did.
Backup up your computer,reformat your computer.
