Graphics card upgrade help?
I’ve got an EVGA 8800GTS 320mb. And I’ve had it for two years.
Considering what leaps and bounds computer technology advances every few months, I’m feeling a little behind, especially since my computer is struggling with newer games.
Anybody got an idea of what would be my old card’s equivalent today? Spent 0 when I got it, but hoping I won’t have to spend that much again.
I’ve got an Asus P5N-E SLI board, so I probably won’t get the most of out the very latest cards.
Help appreciated. Thanks.
Wow those GTX ones are that cheap already?
Cool. Hope my 550 watt can handle it (I’ll have to double check the card’s specs)
Hopefully it will fit. My GTS barely fits in my Antec 900 case…
Thanks for the suggestion!
I’m really sick of doing research for computers because information quickly becomes obsolete in just a few short months! XD

Well seeing your tastes in graphics cards already you seem to know what your doing so I will suggest upgrading to the EVGA GTX 260. It a great graphics card for under $200. I own it myself and there’s virtually nothing it can’t do well. Fallout, Crisis, Wold at War all run without flaw… you WILL however need to make sure your power supply has TWO 6 pin connectors. Also it’s a fairly large graphics card so be sure to have a full ATX chassis or it may be a squeeze into a mid tower. Hope this Helps you out….
I bought mine Here….
