Which laptop brand is better for playing World Of Warcraft?
I’m looking to spend 00 (maybe a bit more) on a top of the line gaming laptop. I want to play World Of Warcraft near flawlessly on it. I’m thinking between Dell’s XPS and Alienware’s laptops. Now Dell’s XPS systems are awesome and seem ergonomic while Alienware’s don’t. For around 0 more than the XPS, Alienware offers an SLI dual graphics card, the same card that Dell offers. Is that 0 extra worth it? I’ve always thought Alienware was awesome and that Dell is O.K. but Dell owns Alienware so that thought is out the window. What would you choose? The extra 0 is not that big of a deal since i’m planning on keeping this laptop for at least 5 -8 years. The rest of the specs are all the same pretty much!
The Dell XPS is not SLI thus it’s a single card and thus not as graphically powerful as the Alienware, but will I really notice a difference in WOW. Also wouldn’t the SLI dual graphics be difficult to cool when under graphical load?
Don’t forget though, Dell owns Alienware, their customer service is Dell’s customer service!

The one thing that Alienware does that’s very nice is that they design the casing in their laptops in such a way that the video cards are removable, which means you can actually upgrade your video card if you want to down the line. This may come in handy if you plan on keeping your laptop for 5-8 years.
The other thing to consider is that the Dell has much better customer support than Alienware. My friend’s Dell laptop broke down and they actually came to his work to repair it for him. When they did repair it they basically completely replaced the broken part on the spot with a new part rather than repair it. He’s had the laptop for three years and pretty much the entire laptop contained new parts except for the casing and the hard drive.
Either one will be a fantastic system. It really just comes down to how much you want to spend. If it were me, I think I’d go for the Alienware with SLI, but again, that’s just me.
ALienware, or apple or dell. Apples have always played blizzard games. But if you want to play other games you would most likely have to install windows on your macbook pro with boot camp or paralells. It’s a good idea to go with the alienware, because IT’S ALIENWARE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!
try Siemens-Fujitsu it is where i play world of war craft
notebookreview.comThe absolutely best gaming laptop in the world is the Sager NP9260:

Conclusion
The Sager NP9260 answers the call for those looking for the best possible performance in a luggable package. There is no more powerful notebook than the NP9260. With desktop Core 2 Duo processors, up to three hard drives, and dual Nvidia GeForce video cards, this machine is virtually a portable desktop. The NP9260 has its audience – those who are interested, you know who you are. The price is quite reasonable in my opinion for the kind of power inside this machine.
After thoroughly testing the NP9260 I cannot give it high enough praise for its capabilities. With gobs of power, an excellent cooling system, a quiet operation, and a nice-looking design, the Sager NP9260 serves its audience well.
Pros:
Phenomenal power
Excellent cooling – unit stays cool and quiet
Nice keyboard/touchpad feel
Beautiful 17” display
Good-looking design
Lifetime tech support
Cons:
Keyboard missing certain dedicated keys (see keyboard section of review)
No SLI under Vista yet
No dedicated external volume control buttons
