I use a radeon 1650 pro with 512mb on it. 4gb total comp memory. But I also use an athlon FX overclocked by about 10%. I have gotten 61fps in shat but usually I’m between 55-60
No graphics card will be able to get 60 FPS on any game with that processor.
Though, running an MMORPG such WoW at 60FPS+ is not really needed, in order to be able to achieve that kind of framerate, you would need something faster than a 6600GT. WoW is not graphically too demanding, except for some zones. So if you’ve got some extra cash sitting around get one of these:
AGP: ATI Radeon 2600XT ~100$
PCI-E: Nvidia Geforce 8800GT ~130$
Nvdia Geforce 9500GT ~70$
ATI Radeon HD4850 ~170$
Any of those should be more than enough to give you 60FPS in WoW.
However, the system you picked is not sold by Walmart anymore, so I recommend trying to find a dual core system for about 500$ or less, which shouldn’t be too hard, if you check out Best Buy, Futureshop(Circuit City in the US) and the likes, and adding one of the recommended PCI-Express video cards.
Good Luck!
Ya, the post below is right, you need to up your processor and buy an Nvidia graphics card, anything 8500+ will do, you might need to upgrade your power supply as well if you get in the high 8800 but a card like that is basically as much as your computer. Your best bet is to run as is and buy some low end nvidia like a 8500 and just stick with that, you will have to settle with 30 fps for now. I have a 8700 and I get about 50 fps so… 60fps will cost you a thousand bucks to get a comp that can do that
