does world of Warcraft on a mac run faster when in XP bootcamp?

I’m getting a new MB soon and i have heard a few things that since WoW was originally made for windows XP, it runs better on a mac in XP bootcamp than it does natively on Mac OSX. Does this have any truth with FPS in WoW?

I play WoW on a 24" iMac with a Nvidia GeForce graphics card and the game runs amazing for me. I have 3 other guildies who actually play on Macs as well and none of us would ever change that.
I run anywhere from 50-90fps in game (including raids) which is good considering that the human eye cannot see more than 60 fps.
The Mac client also has a few of unique features that aren’t offered on the Windows one like the in-game capture system (like Fraps).
Good luck!
No not at all , i have a friend with WoW on his mac and it even runs better than on XP
Hope it helps you
Gaming is not something I would recommend while using Bootcamp. At all.
It should run fine on your MacBook, especially the new ones which have pretty decent gaming specs.
Don’t believe that guy above about games on bootcamp. They work fine.
But about your question, just run it on OSX, mainly because Windows sucks.
