What are the differences between guitar hero world tour wii and ps3?

I’ve played on ps3 and I’m buying it for wii.
Can you play against other players online on wii as on ps3?
Also my friend told me that you used to be able to create/custimize your characters, can you do it on wii?

the wiimote goes in the guitar/drum set. Yes you can play online and yes you can customize characters. There are differences in these tho, the PS3 has a much better advantage, there are more people online who are more skilled, and the graphics are much better, allowing customization to be more rewarding on the PS3. If you only have a Wii, yes they are the "same", but if you have access to another system i wuld choose it for these (PS3 or 360). Hope this helps.
i think the different is that on wii you have to put the Controller on the guitar to play… yes is the same thing as ps3 you can play online and also you can create/customize your characters
