My dads girlfriend just bought a new computer and does not want anything installed onto it, including my addiction (wow). Is it possible for me a to install wow onto my ipod and run the game off it while it is plugged into the usb port?
so even if i want to take it out and swap computers it will play like normal?

usually no
if you install a program called MojoPac onto the iPod, then you can install any software onto that and run it as it normally would, but MojoPac will only run on Windows XP
if you meant running it on the iPod without a computer, then that is impossible to anyone not wanting to void the warranty
yes, during the instillation of WoW specify that you want it to install to whatever drive letter your ipod is.
I won’t say it can’t be done, but it can’t be done. You’d have to mod your iPod operating system heavily, and even if you managed to get the game on there, you wouldn’t be able to play it. It’d never meet the system requirements.
Look into getting a cheap external hard drive instead. That way you can play the game on her computer, but the game itself is installed on a removable drive that you can plug in and unplug as you wish.
