How to run two OS's at once?
Now is it possible to run two or more OS’s on the same computer at the EXACT time. I’m not talking about using tools such as vmware or virtual pc to emulate windows or some distro of linux. I’m giving no limits to hardware, so if you have any ideas then throw them out there. I mean like using dual lga xeon servers ect. As I stated before no limits on hardware. I would love to be able to switch back and forth between XP and windows 7 in the form of alt tab. I think I have heard of people saying you can do it though when looking online a lot of people are quick to refer to virtualization which I already use and is a pain. Ty for your time

No limits on hardware?
Then get two separate computers and use a KVM.
Then, you can press scroll lock twice and have your KB/Mouse/Monitor switch to the other computer running the other OS.
VMware is a lot less of a pain in the ass than this approach.
Yes it is possible. You will need Virtual Box by Sun Microsystems. You can download it just by Googling it. You will have to run it on an operating system and what it does it is is basically like having a computer in your computer. You can assign it a certain amount of RAM and HDD space etc. You can have numerous operating systems programed but you can run only one at time through Virtualbox which you can minimize and use your main O/S at your leisure.
Sorry didn’t read properly Virtualization is the only way of doing this using a single computer.
well i have a littel knowledge about it..
you can install two os at once but you have to make sure that first you have installed the latest os
for exg..
if you want to install windows xp and widnws 7 at once then you have to install windows 7 at first and widnws xp after that…
and the process is the same just dont format c drive just install the OS
after completing ..and rebooting you will be asked to choose the os you want to run
SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH …BUT HOPE IT WORKS
