What is the best ps3 the normal or the new slim and what is the best 2010 football game for it?

Im looking to buy a ps3 but i dont no what is the best 1 to buy the slim or normal and the best 2010 football game for it and i would like to play ps2 games on the ps3 is well if its possible and do you need a special tv for it.

the slim. and NFL 10 is a great all-around game (fun, great soundtrack, great graphics, easy controls, etc.)
I dont know if it really matters whether you have a slim or a regular one, if you mean soccer i would get fifa 09 and fifa 10 is coming out in two days.
