How do you transfer ringtones and music from itune to your iphone?

I have used the usb cable and sync iphone to itunes but dont know what to do from there, where and how do you transfer it to the phone. I can’t get it to do anything from there.

You have to(when your iPhone is hooked up to your computer) go to the menu on the left and go to your iPhone. Click on it and go to ringtones tab and check the box. Then go down to sync(bottom right hand corner). It should be transfered after the sync, it not then call 1-800-My Apple for customer support. Then go to do the same thing with your music.
