If you buy the iPhone it will be locked to AT&T, therefore inserting your T-Mobile SIM will not work off the bat. You’d have to unlock it 1st then it would work. Yes the apps will be the same. That does not change because of a different carrier.
I don’t own an iPhone or know much, but I don’t think you can because iPhone is owned by AT&T, a different phone provider.
Don’t do it. You’re clearly not tech savvy. You don’t even know about locked phones. Yes, an unlocked iPhone will work on T-Mobile. However, if you ever upgrade your firmware using iTunes, you relock it. Then what? You have a T- mobile contract and a phone locked to AT&T. You simply don’t know enough to keep an unlocked iPhone unlocked and unlocked iPhones are a boatload of money.
The good news is that by the time your contract is up, the 2011 iPhone will be about to be released.
