How can i get my Xbox 360 to play music off of my MP3 player?

Okay so i have an Xbox 360 arcade. It does not have a hard drive only 256 mb memory card. Every time i connect my MP3 to it it only plays the first 5 seconds of the song then repeats the song.How can i get it to play the whole song especially when i play my video games? Please help thanks.

You need to use a USB connector for the MP3 then plug it into one of two ports for USB and you’ll play songs during video games.

well it sounds like you got the mp3 player on intro change around your mp3 settings a bit and it might work
get the usb device that connects your mp3 player to the computer. instead of plugging it into your computer, plug it into the usb slots on the front plate of your xbox 360. then on your dashboard, go to music.
