How to manually create game shortcuts in games folder on Windows 7?

When I install a video game on Windows 7, it usually places its shortcut in games folder. I find this very convenient, cause I can see rating information, information how well my computer can run it etc. The problem is, some of the games don’t do this, and I was wondering, is there a way to manually enter this information, using windows registry, or whatever?

To put a shortcut there, right-click the game file, select Create Shortcut and move the shortcut to the game folder. But a shortcut isn’t going to have game statistics. That’s something the game itself creates, and you’d have to write a program (a separate one for each game) to do that.
i have installed 2 games in windows seven and they both came up……

its awesome but if your already using windows 7 it will say you cant but if you want to run them right click on the game icon and select properties and compatibily and select xp or vista and it will run like its in windows xp, vista whatever thats how i do it.
but yeah you cant do it through 7 manually so just use can u run it!
