How can I fix my Xbox 360 that has sound but no video display?
I received a refurbished Xbox 360 from Microsoft that has worked fine for the past two weeks. Then, upon starting up the console a few days ago, no video was being displayed, except for some slight static over a black screen. However, there is still sound output. No red rings of death. Why is this and how can I fix it?

If you are getting sound but no video the problem is your AV cables. Try unplugging them and replugging them in. If the problem persists try buying new cables (Note: If you have an HDTV you might need the HD cables but I am pretty sure that would not cause it to stop working.) If all that doesn’t work send your xbox in to microsoft, they deal with problems like that all the time. Hope that helps! ^^

Make sure the a/v plug is set to TV not HDTV, it can get changed very easily.
