why does it take a bank 7 -10 days to clear a out of state check when they have new technology today

We have all seen some pretty cool gadgets that tony stark has invented. But does this tech actually exist today?

I’m thinking of buying a new Gateway desktop computer but have gotten bad reports on tech support after the sale. Anyone with any advice?

The technology we have today is just outrageous compared to just 20 or even 10 years ago. What are your predictions or insights into the the future? Are robots/machinery/wireless technologies going to run the show?

From the article where the girl got a text message firing her, I have a friend (for 10 years) who has this annoying habit of sending a mass text message to everyone’s phone during special occasions. Personally, it’s mad cheesy to me to get a text on my phone at a party or hanging out with family that says "Merry Xmas – from T." or the ever timely "T wishes you a Happy New Year". And then to have a few others at the same place get the same msg.

At the least, send an e-card with a personal message or something, or, as a novel idea…CALL.

I wanted to reference my friend with something that outlines just how lame a mass phone text is, but couldn’t find anything that updates some of the common sense and basic courtesy with today’s tech. (Like turn off your ringers and don’t talk during the movie in the theater – YOU RUDE IDIOT!)
