I’m putting together a media server and would like to be able to manage it remotely since I dont really want a monitor, keyboard, mouse etc. in the stereo cabinet. Is it ok to use a server operating system solely for the ability to run terminal services? I don’t want a domain controller or anything else…disk space is not an issue.

I live in the UK, so apps such as ABC Player and Netflix don’t work here. My dad is refusing to buy me some tv episodes or movies just now, so are there any sites where I can download free tv shows and movies for my iPad? (no membership sites, surveys or converters) Thanks!
