my wireless provider is verizon and ive heard that soon verizon will get an iphone. is this true? and if so when will it happen?

I was also wondering what would be the requirements in which that LCD TV would be able to have in order to give me the best 3d experience. Would it damage the tv in anyway ? and how much of a difference would it be from and actual 3d tv ?
