I need a new dvd drive for my macbook but i don’t want pay 0 for a brand new one. If i can’t, does anybody know a cheap place to buy dvd drives for macbook?

I’m thinking about getting a bigger hard drive in my Macbook. First I would like to know if there are any restrictions on the memory size of the drive I can put in? Next I would also like to know what type of drive I need? I think I’ll need an ATA drive?
Also, how hard is it to install a new drive? Would there be access in the battery area?

What I mean is can you have a macbook with OSX completely wiped from the drive? Instead of Mac OSX installed, can you have a macbook with JUST windows installed? forget partitioning the hard drive for windows and mac. im talking about just windows alone on the macbook.

The last time I used my external hard drive, I was using my Acer and I transferred about 3000 songs from my Itunes to the hard drive. Now I have a Macbook Pro and want to access those songs, but I am pretty sure my husband mentioned something about formatting and that if I plug the hard drive right into my new Mac it will erase every song that is already on the hard drive. I would just ask him, but he is away right now. Any help?
