If a Macbook has mechanical damage, what are some things that could have caused it?

What is the maximum size hard drive I can install on a black macbook? and what do the specifics of the hard drive have to be? (Sata, gb’s, size, etc) thanks!

My itunes is on my desktop. i just got a macbook a week ago, and i want to transfer my itunes to my macbook. I already tried using a hard drive, but it transfered about every song i’ve ever out on my desktop which is like 20,000+ songs. How do I transfer it so that everything goes on perfectly?

I bought a 13" Macbook pro in June of 2009. I would like to sell my laptop and buy a different one. Is there a way that I can delete everything on my hard drive and reset my computer to factory settings? I dont want someone to be able to look at everything that I did over the past year. any help would be appreciated!

I have the 8300HD Rogers Digital Cable PVR and a Macbook Pro 13" and was wondering how one would transfer some of the recordings from the PVR to the Macbook for later viewing. I have searched forums and such and have found no answer. Can I just plug in an external hard drive through USB and and use the "copy to VCR" option? Or is it more complicated? Your help is very much appreciated.
