I’ve decided to do away with my laptop and just get an iPad…I would use it mostly for browsing, photo editing (i can take the pictures with a different camera, i dont need the iPad 2 JUST for its cameras) and creating keynote presentations…I’m only 15 so the price is a big factor, seeing as I have limited cash. The iPad 1 is substantially cheaper than its newer counterpart, but i cant get 3G because my family uses verizon (my iPhone 4 is on Verizon) What would be a better option? I plan on using an AV adapter to send my netflix movies to my HD TV. Should I get a 16gb Wfi iPad 1 for 0 or 16GB Wi-Fi 3G iPad 2? also, can you use the AV adapter on the iPad 1?
the iPad 2 starts at 9

I am a sophomore in high school and I will be purchasing a MacBook Pro 13 soon. I will be using it mostly for word processing with very little video editing and moderate Internet usage. I won’t be using this for gaming or anything overly extensive like large quantities of video processing. If I get the battery replaced a couple of times over the next 6 years, will this computer still work really well for me in 6 years?

I am planning on buying a MacBook next weekend. The only decision I must make now is whether I will buy a standard MacBook or the MacBook Pro. The MacBook only comes with NVidia integrated graphics. Good as NVidia tends to be, I worry about the graphics capability of integrated graphics. Other than the video memory, the MacBook and MacBook Pro are almost identical. Which is the better value?

It looks like the macbook pro is the best laptop for video editing. I just want to know how big the hard drive should be, how much memory etc… Also, I use Final Cut Pro at school, but i dont have enough money to buy it for myself, so is Final Cut Express similar enough where I would be able to bring school projects home to work on with Final cut Express?
