400Watt PSU + GTS 450?

What do you guys think, I’ve had the combination for about 4-5 months now.. Do you think I’m starving my GPU? I run 60-70 FPS in America’s Army 3.. My FPS will Randomly drop.. But when I alt tab out and back in my FPS is back up..

Do you think getting a new PSU would improve my FPS.. Or more ram..

PSU: Allied ATX 400W SL-8400BTX
GPU: Galaxy GTS 450
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 840
Ram: 2 gig
OS: Win 7 64b

Online Backup The Way It Should Be-FREE

I’m looking into playing World of Warcraft and I would like a laptop to play it on BUT I have absolutely no tech know how whatsoever and I’m on a budget. I’d like a laptop that can run World of Warcraft at full specs (or as close to full specs as possible) at 30+fps that will cost from 500-700 dollars. I also know that building your own gaming laptop is much cheaper then buying one so if it could save me money I’d greatly appreciate a list of good quality parts that I would need and a rough estimate of the price.

World of Warcraft runs poorly on new machine?

I just built my new machine and I went to install World of Warcraft using the digital installer. Everything installed ok, no errors or anything. It finally gets done patching and I start it up. The login screen was slower then anything I ever saw could barley type in my info. I finally get it all in and select my character and get in and it’s horribly slow I have an average of 5 fps but my latency is in the 60s I don’t get what could cause this. My machine is more than capable of running WoW on max setting and it still has a average of 5 fps even on the lowest setting, even shadow quality was disabled. I also tried running in lowest resolution but nothing. Other games such as Warhammer online and CoD MW2 work fine on max settings with not even the slightest lag spike!

My specs are

Intel Core i7-950 3.06ghz quad core processor
6g DDR3 RAM
Corsair 750w power supply
Western Digital 640G 7200 RPM hard drive
EVGA GeForce 1G PCI Express video card
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit

Any help would be great!

Thanks

I’m getting a new MB soon and i have heard a few things that since WoW was originally made for windows XP, it runs better on a mac in XP bootcamp than it does natively on Mac OSX. Does this have any truth with FPS in WoW?

MY FPS FOR WORLD OF WARCRAFT RANGES BETWEEN 6-20 FPS BUT I NEED SOMETHING LIKE 30-40 FPS. HOW WOULD I CHANGE THAT?
