I bought an alienware laptop about 2 months ago and it came with windows 7 free upgrade according to the bestbuy website. How do I get the free upgrade for alienware? i know its dell but it is not listed in the windows 7 upgrade website, and there is no alienware option. Should i call alienware or bestbuy?

I am about to purchase my first laptop, a Gateway NV5214u. Its my first PC aside from an old, almost unusable desktop. Ive grown up a Mac user and I am going into my sophomore year of high school. I really dont know much about these operating systems. I get a free upgrade to Windows 7 but to me (someone who is not too PC savvy) what are the major and/or noticeable differences between Windows Vista and Windows 7?

Hi I have a windows 32-bit vista on my asus laptop K401J series and it is eligible for the free upgrade to windows 7 because I bought it just last October. How can I upgrade to windows 7? Will I receive a new product key?
