I’m thinking about making apps for ipod touches and iphones, but I have no ideas. What are some good ideas for apps and games?

What is a reasonable price for a good laptop new or used that will play games well?

Graphics card upgrade help?

I’ve got an EVGA 8800GTS 320mb. And I’ve had it for two years.

Considering what leaps and bounds computer technology advances every few months, I’m feeling a little behind, especially since my computer is struggling with newer games.

Anybody got an idea of what would be my old card’s equivalent today? Spent 0 when I got it, but hoping I won’t have to spend that much again.

I’ve got an Asus P5N-E SLI board, so I probably won’t get the most of out the very latest cards.

Help appreciated. Thanks.
Wow those GTX ones are that cheap already?

Cool. Hope my 550 watt can handle it (I’ll have to double check the card’s specs)

Hopefully it will fit. My GTS barely fits in my Antec 900 case…

Thanks for the suggestion!

I’m really sick of doing research for computers because information quickly becomes obsolete in just a few short months! XD

Macbook Gaming Performance?

I’m wondering about getting a Macbook, since performance is pretty solid and the "Mac experience" is something I’d like to try. However, I also want to run a few games on the laptop, and I was wondering if Boot Camp, Fusion, or whatever Mac uses for Windows Virtualization results in slower gaming speeds, or if it’s still hardware-limited by the 8600 graphics.

On a side note, is a 2.6 Ghz CPU that much faster than 2.5 Ghz, to warrant an additional 250 dollars?

Pick up and put down iPhone games?

I’m really loving words with friends on the iphone. The main things I enjoy about this game is the slower pace, the ability to pick up and put down the phone in the middle of a game. Are there any other iPhone games that don’t require immediate action for this kind of play?
I’m looking for an online multiplayer game, by the way.
