What version of HDMI should I buy for my 3D tv? 1.3 or 1.4?
Why do we need a 3D capable TV for viewing 3D content?
This drives me nuts. I don’t understand why we need to have a 3D capable HDTV to run 3D content. Why is there not an adapter box that will work with the active shutter glasses and transmit the signal over HDMI to the existing HDTV? If 3D signal is nothing more than alternating frames to make stereoscopic vision possible with glasses that actively turn on and off alternating left and right lenses, why does this have to be a function of the TV and not an adapter box? Most HDTV’s now have 120 hz refresh rate, so it would just be cutting that in half to display the 3D content i.e. 60 hz refresh rate. If an adapter box existed that relayed the same signal to the glasses, the tv would function as a 3D TV. Can someone give me a compelling reason why this won’t work?
Using the cloud to sync files…?
Ok, I have 2 laptops, both running Windows 7 Home Premium. Computer ‘A’ has a lot more storage space, so that is where I have all my videos, pictures, mp3’s, etc. I’d like to watch a movie on my home tv, which is where computer ‘B’ comes into play, with it’s HDMI output.
So, I’m trying to sync the computers, so I can watch a movie from ‘A’, on ‘B’. I’ve tried creating a homegroup, but have had tons of issues, apparently because I’m running AVG I.S. on both pc’s.
I’d like to go "To the cloud…" I’ve downloaded windows live essentials. But, am not sure where to go from here to remotely access another pc. Any help would be great…
Thank you

I got it today, turned it on. No beep. Fans run, lights run, the fan runs on the video card. Light on Mobo is a steady green. LCD monitor reads no input signal. I had two converters for a VGA outpout from the videocard, neither helped. Installed the VGA cord into the MOBO itself, and still no help.
Called IBP and they had me remove memory, etc. It didn’t help. They said it sounds like a defective video card. What are some thoughhts of you follow computer mechanics out there? Possible bad Mobo?
