Is samsung galaxy tab 8.9 3G available in India.

Does this tablet support GSM 2G simcord?

i confused on whether to wait for samsung galaxy tab 8.9 or getting samsung galaxy tab p1000 (7" tab)
in my country the 8.9 has not released yet (in india) ,so should i wait for not?
please do give your advice
i dont a very big tablet eg:ipad ,galaxy tab 10.1

mostly i want an android os tab with cool features like galaxy tab has,but it has a small screen.suggest me more.and if u noe smthin in range of 15k then pllzz tell me
