I have an iPhone 3GS, and am thinking of switching to Verizon for the iPhone 4S since AT&T’s 3G network in Long Island is unbelievably congested. However, I’ll have to switch from an unlimited plan to one with a data cap. Is there an easy way to check your data usage vs the data cap directly on the phone? I’d prefer it if there was an app I could quickly check.

In my area we still have Alltel and it’s network is actually much better down here than verizon. But the only problem is Alltel doesn’t have enough muscle anymore to sponsor the Iphone. I was wanting to see how to flash an iphone over from Verizon to Alltel which is pretty much the same network. Can anyone help or let me know who I could contact to ask.

my friend is selling his iphone 4s for verizon. if i unlocked it would i be able to use it with sprint?

Now that Sprint carries the iPhone 4 and 4s, I was wondering If I can connect an iPhone 4 I bought with Verizon on the Sprint network?

I am on a 6 month exchange program to Japan. I have an iPhone 4 on the unlimited Verizon plan. To avoid an expensive roaming bill, I have kept my phone in airplane mode up until now. If an emergency situation arose, would I be able to turn off airplane mode and make a call or use the 3G network?
