I see a lot of fake companies use the word mac and macbook pro in their title on google adwords. How do they get past that?

I need to run Windows Terminal server. Do I need to have windows server in order to do that?
I am assuming that I probably do….in which case, should I buy 2008 or is 2003 perfectly adequate.
Honestly, I only need it so that I can run software on 7 remote computers which happens to be Mac.

In C++, in either Mac, Linux or Windows (Hopefully all three), I need to detect if an iOS device is connected, and which iPhone it is or which iTouch or which iPad it is, And what firmware it’s running.
This is part of a bigger program that I’ll post to sourceforge.
