Im looking for a small portable tablet that gets internet. I only want to pay for a data plan. Makes no sense to buy an iphone just for internet when I also have to pay for a call plan.

I am on a standard family plan with 4 other people where we are given 800 minutes a month to share. I am wondering if every time I go on the internet on my droid phone does it use part of that 800 minutes?

I just ordered a droid eris. I have a blackberry right now and I was wondering if the data plan that I have for the blackberry ( a month) will be the same price for the droid eris?

I’m asking because I dont want to buy an ipad that doesn’t have multitasking, then the next month it comes out with it… You get the point.

The cheapest iPad doesn’t come with 3G coverage; for that, you’ll need to bump it up to 9, which doesn’t factor in the /month you’ll be paying for unlimited data. (because you will be paying for unlimited data and not 250 MB a month, right?)

does this has something to do with internet anywhere or something?
