I want to download a virus protection program on my windows vista laptop. Anyone have any good sucess with one type of anti-virus program that they would like to recomend? This would be much appreciated. I am currently running Microsofts Windows Defender, but want added virus and spyware protection.

My computer got a "demo" of the program Spyware Protect 2009. I found out that this program is a virus and I’ve been trying to get rid of it. I can’t really go onto the internet on my computer to remove it because whenever I google something close to removing the software it blocks the webpage. So how do I remove this program?

I have this program called ultimate cleaner 2007. Its an annoying spyware program that creates pop ups on my computer even when Im offline. I’ve tried removing, searched for it, went through my hard drive and went throuhg add/remove programs list. I found a program to solve the problem but it costs money. Im running spyware docter and that got everything but the ultamite cleaner 2007, can someone please help me?

I have tried almost every spyware remover and this spyware program remains intalled. It appears in my toolbar and stays there.

In Windows 7 there is a simple scanning program. Click on Start > All Programs > Windows fax and scanning. Then click Scan. A simple scanning software comes up. How can a make a shortcut directly to this simple scanning program?
