Just started college fulltime and got a Macbook. I noticed there is not program for writing papers. So I need something good for that, something that offers a free trial, would be nice. I have also heard about software designed for taking notes in class, and keeping those notes organized.

What free program could i use to make mash up music on my macbook?
I would like to download virtual dj but i can’t find a version for mac’s. When i have tried downloading virtual dj it has always turned into a word document. If anyone knows any good programs for mash ups post a link here. Thanks

I just got a macbook pro; this is my first time using mac programing, I usually use windows. So with windows I used programs like WordPrefect or Microsoft Works Task Launcher to write papers for school and such, but I can’t find a program similar on my laptop. Can someone help? What’s the program called that I’d use? Would I have to download one, or is it on my computer already?

If i were to get a motorola droid, could i transfer my previously boughten songs and videos from itunes to that program? or would i have to start all over?
