The two 3D tv’s im looking at are the 42" 1080P Vizio theater 3d, and the Samsung 720P 42" 3D tv. the Vizio is http://www.vizio.com/e3d420vx.html

The Vizio is 1080P, but is passive, so i think it cuts that in half.
The Samsung is active, but only 720P.
I have a ps3, so thats going to be most of my 3d content.
I know that this is a prefeence choice, so you dont have to say that. What I want is some pros and cons and what you would do.

I have a 23" ASUS LCD monitor that I was using via HDMI with my PC. Now I have a Macbook, and the monitor is hooked up via the HDMI/DVI adapter, but the resolution, even set at 720 on isn’t nearly as good as before. Am I stuck with this or is there a way to get the external display looking as good as it did with PC?

I found a 43" plasma 3D from samsung for 0. Im looking to sell my Sony 32" BRAVIA and buy a bigger tv from a good brand, possibly with 3D
