I have a macbook pro and my yamaha GO46 is picked up only sometimes. I find that I can see it under system profiler yet doesn’t show up under audio or midi devices. Its rather sporadic as to when it shows up with no real rhyme or reason.

When do you think Apple will come out with an Ipad that can run a real operating system such as OS X and not basically just the ipod touch software?

I currently have a 32" LCD Samsung HDTV and a Samsung blu ray theatre system and im wanting to get a 55" Samsung LED 3D HDTV and a 3D Samsung blu ray theatre system and i was wondering if anyone has a brand of tv/bluray that claims they convert 2D to 3D like Samsung and if it even works like they say because im nervous to put all that money out for nothing. I currently have the Droid Eris, my service isn’t through Verizon though. It’s a company called Page Plus, its the same exact service through Verizon. I know there is a 2.1 software/system update. My software is 1.5. Ive tried everything to update.
P.S. Ive also tried going through settings> about phone> system updates.. but that just tells me " your system is currently up to date.
Is there any way I could manually update the software myself? thanks for your answers.
